After the successful launch of Business Day in 2012, the Nobel Peace Prize Forum will once again explore the role business plays in creating a more peaceful society. On the afternoon of Friday, March 8th, Business Day will open with a keynote from 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus, a pioneer in the field of microfinance who has lifted millions out of poverty. Dr. Yunus is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential intellectuals and business leaders – you don’t want to miss him!
Held at the Ted Mann Concert Hall on the University of Minnesota campus, Business Day will also include a panel on food security featuring senior executives from Land-o-Lakes and Cargill, among others, discussing the role the food industry plays in creating stable societies. The day will wrap up with a keynote on social entrepreneurs by Nina Easton, Senior Editor at Fortune Magazine. It’s an incredible line-up of speakers who are sure to be both informative and inspiring.
