We are happy to start the second year of the program formerly known as the Net impact Minneapolis mentoring program. We’ve made some adjustments to help deliver a program that is beneficial for all our members. Let’s call this career discovery with a hint of mentoring, should it arise..
The Net Impact Minneapolis Career Discovery Program will: Match individuals looking to make an impact with experienced professionals making social or environmental impact – matches made, to the extent possible, based on shared interests
- Facilitate productive, valuable, and efficient one-on-one meeting sessions for career veterans and discoverers
- Convene larger events for all program participants, providing further opportunity for networking and interacting with individuals with common career interests
- Help career discoverers continue down their path to a rewarding career by providing access to advice, an expanded network, and new opportunities
- Provide career veterans the opportunity to contribute to the growth of their field, foster emerging leaders, and strengthen their own knowledge
- And lay the ground for lasting relationships among participants that extend beyond the length of the program
Program Format and Timeframe:
- February 15 – applications open for program participants
- March 23 – participants introduced
- Mid-June – in person event for all participants to share lessons learned, thoughts on program for second half of 2015
