Q: What does the Board do?
A: In short, everything.  We are a working Board, there is no staff, so everyone brings their passion for sustainability and social impact and pitches in to bring to life the board members ideas for events and initiatives.  A few of the things we did over the past year: held an event on MN’s newly passed Benefit Corporation legislation, and B Corps, launched the sustainability mentoring program, held happy hour with the U.S. Green Building Council, Sustainability Speed Networking at Fulton, and lots of work on the national conference.

Q:  How many people are on the Board?
A: There are 4 officers (president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary) and up to 9 at-large members for a maximum size of 13.

Q: Who is eligible to serve on the Board?
A: Members in good standing are eligible to serve on the Board.  This means you must be a member of the National Net Impact organization and have the Net Impact Minneapolis Professional Chapter designated as your chapter.

A: There is still time to join.  Just go here to join.  Remember to designate the Minneapolis Professional Chapter as your chapter.
